Tuttu works in Finnish, English, German, and Swedish. The language is determined by the invite code you used to join, and speech recognition is locked to the language of your account. In text messages, Tuttu can understand and respond in other languages as well, but for phone calls, the best experience is in the language set for your account.

Tuttu remembers your conversations automatically. After every call or text exchange, Tuttu updates its memory: new information is saved and old information is updated if something has changed. This means you don’t have to repeat yourself — for example, your dietary restrictions, upcoming trips, or other preferences stay in memory and Tuttu takes them into account automatically going forward. You can view and delete all stored information about you at any time through the web portal.

Yes — Tuttu is an AI, and like all AI, it can sometimes be wrong. It might, for example, retrieve outdated information or misunderstand your request. For important matters, it’s always a good idea to double-check the information Tuttu provides. If you notice a mistake, let Tuttu know — it learns and improves its performance.

Yes. Tuttu can send you text messages without a separate request if you’ve given it a task that requires it. For example, if you ask Tuttu to monitor your flight status, it will automatically send you a message if your flight is delayed. Likewise, recurring tasks — such as daily vocabulary practice or morning reminders — are handled on schedule without you needing to reach out.

Your conversations with Tuttu are private and protected. All data is transferred over an encrypted connection and stored securely. You can manage your data through the web portal, where you can view and delete all information stored about you. We do not share your data with third parties without your permission. A regular phone is enough. Tuttu works through calls and text messages, so you don’t need a smartphone, internet connection, or an app. Any phone that can make calls and send texts will do.

Calling and texting Tuttu’s number costs the same as a regular call or text message on your mobile plan (standard mobile rates). The service itself doesn’t add any operator fees — the only separate cost is the credit consumption from using Tuttu.

Tuttu uses several different AI models under the hood, selected and optimized for different tasks such as speech recognition, natural language understanding, and information retrieval. We continuously develop the service and update models as the technology evolves.
